Description

Hodge Defense Systems is proud to release the Mod 3. This design incorporates our traditional Mod 2 upper receiver (C405 aluminum) with our S-lock handguard but with a single piece top rail (7075 aluminum) for added rigidity and strength. This provides a significant decrease in rail deflection providing an excellent platform for lasers/passive aiming devices. The top rail is held to the receiver and handguard using (5) stainless-steel screws secured with blue loctite and torqued to between 25-30 inch/lbs. This platform excelled in testing including extensive and excessive drop tests, as well as an aggressive full-auto firing schedule. This design takes our already extremely rugged Mod 2 design to the next level.
