This barrel is engraved as .223 chambering, but is rated for full-pressure 5.56 NATO. The chamber is optimized for .223/5.56 match grade ammunition.

This gas system is compatible with mil-spec .750 gas blocks. For optimal performance, Geissele recommends pairing this barrel with a high quality close-fitting gas block. Some gas leakage is normal and will not affect the barrel’s function.
