Sons of Liberty x Forward Controls Design LRF Ambi Complete Lower Receiver

The 2025 SOLGW x FCD LRF ambi lower receiver maintains its signature flared magwell and ambidextrous controls while adding six key improvements including an enlarged receiver extension ring, modified beavertail, and tightened lug fitment. These enhancements create a seamless blend with various uppers, improve compatibility, and simplify maintenance without compromising the battle-proven design.

Freshly updated for 2025, the SOLGW x FCD LRF ambi lower receiver is our best yet.

Unchanged since its release, the LRF still features the same generously flared magazine well, signature trigger guard geometry, ambi magazine release fencing provision, and ambi bolt release mechanism. The following enhancements have been added for 2025:

• Enlarged support ring for the receiver extension – creates a seamless blend with both Broadsword upper receivers and forged uppers, while strengthening the critical buffer tube junction
• Modified beavertail contour for wider pistol grip compatibility
• Tightened lug fitment – providing superior fit with various upper receivers
• Enlarged trigger pocket – material removed behind the magazine well for improved trigger finger clearance and reduced weight
• Beveled selector stops – steeper bevel more closely mimics standard forged selector stops
• Bolt catch roll pin relief cut – simplifies removal of the roll pin when swapping bolt catches

The LRF includes the proprietary parts necessary to integrate most any bolt catch of your choosing and is available fully assembled, stripped, or in complete firearms from SOLGW.

The LRF lower receiver has our Rebellious Stripes design on the left side, and the FCD Cygnus logo on the Right  Due to the already enlarged magazine well, aftermarket magazine funnel attachments are unlikely to fit.
